Special services and clinicsThe nurses Chronic diseases The nurses carry out most of the routine monitoring of chronic diseases, such as diabetes and heart disease. Health promotion The nurses carry out well-woman checks (including cervical smears and contraception), and can give advice about smoking, alcohol, exercise and diet. Travel advice Patients needing advice about vaccinations or other matters relating to foreign travel should complete a travel clinic record form and send it into the practice. When it is received, we will contact you to arrange a telephone appointment with the practice nurse. The form is available by clicking here uploads/file/TravelClinicRecord.pdf or by telephoning reception.
The doctors Minor surgery Both doctors perform minor surgery, such as removal of skin lesions. In addition, Dr Smith carries out joint -injections. Contraception Both doctors provide contraception, including the 'morning after' pill (which can be obtained over the phone). Minor injury For your convenience, we offer a service for minor injuries.
